Installation Notes:

Allow the fireplace insert to cool completely before beginning installation. Remove the door or glass frame according to the manufacturer’s instructions. Carefully remove the damaged glass and all old gasket material. Clean the glass channel thoroughly. Apply new tape gasket evenly around the perimeter of the replacement glass. Reinstall the glass, ensuring even spacing on all sides. Tighten retainers snugly without overtightening, maintaining approximately 1/8" clearance to allow for thermal expansion.

Important:
This panel is not tempered glass. Tempered glass is unsafe for fireplace inserts and may fail at temperatures above 450°F. Ceramic, pyro-ceramic, and neo-ceramic glass are specifically engineered for sustained high-heat environments and can withstand temperatures up to 1,400°F with minimal thermal expansion.
