Total Hearth 2-Year Glass Protection Terms

Effective for protection plans purchased with eligible glass.

Total Hearth 2-Year Glass Protection is an optional paid protection plan available on select replacement glass products. These terms are separate from any manufacturer warranty that may apply to the product.

Protection period

Coverage lasts for two years from the original purchase date of the covered glass and protection plan.

What the plan provides

Subject to these terms, the plan provides one replacement of the covered glass panel for qualifying accidental breakage that occurs after successful installation during normal residential use, including unexpected breakage during normal stove or fireplace operation.

What is not covered

  • Damage occurring during installation or removal.
  • Improper installation, incorrect application, or use in an appliance for which the glass is not intended.
  • Incorrect measurements, dimensions, specifications, or products ordered by the customer.
  • Intentional damage, abuse, misuse, neglect, or commercial use.
  • Damage resulting from modifications to the appliance or installation.
  • Cosmetic damage that does not affect the function of the glass.
  • Damage to the stove, fireplace, gasket, clips, hardware, or any item other than the covered glass panel.
  • Labor, installation, removal, or other incidental or consequential costs.

Replacement and shipping

An approved claim provides one replacement glass panel. The customer is responsible for shipping charges associated with the replacement. The replacement does not restart or extend the original two-year term, and the plan is fulfilled after one approved replacement.

Eligibility

The protection plan must be purchased at the same time as the eligible glass product it covers. The plan applies only to the glass identified on the original order and is non-transferable.

Making a claim

Customers should contact Total Hearth with their original order information and reasonable photographs or other information requested to verify the covered glass, installation, application, and breakage.

Cancellations and refunds

The protection plan is non-refundable after the covered glass has shipped, except where otherwise required by applicable law.

Total Hearth may request reasonable information needed to determine whether a claim qualifies under these terms. Nothing in this plan limits rights that cannot legally be limited under applicable law.
