Why Choose the Fasco 1MBS1 Buck Stove Blower Motor?

A failing blower motor can reduce heat circulation, cause uneven room temperatures, or create excessive noise. Replacing it with the Fasco 1MBS1 rear mount motor restores proper airflow, smooth multi-speed operation, and dependable heating performance. Manufactured to OEM standards, this motor delivers the reliability and longevity Buck stove owners expect.

Installation Instructions:

Disconnect power to the stove at the breaker before servicing. Ensure the stove and blower assembly are completely cool.

Remove the rear access panel or blower housing cover to access the existing motor.

Disconnect the motor wiring. Label wires or take a photo to ensure correct reconnection, especially for the three speed leads.

Remove the mounting screws or bolts securing the old motor to the rear mount bracket. Carefully remove the motor.

Inspect the blower housing and fan blade for debris, damage, or imbalance. Clean or replace components as needed.

Install the Fasco 1MBS1 motor onto the rear mount bracket. Secure it using the original hardware or approved replacements.

Attach the blower fan blade (sold separately) to the motor shaft. Ensure proper alignment and tighten securely without overtightening.

Reconnect the wiring according to the original configuration, confirming correct speed terminals and ground connection.

Restore power briefly and test the blower at all three speeds to confirm proper clockwise rotation and airflow.

Once confirmed, reinstall the access panel and resume normal stove operation.

Installation tip: Incorrect rotation or mismatched wiring can reduce airflow and cause overheating. Always verify motor rotation, wiring, and fan blade compatibility before operating the stove.
