Why Replace Your Door Gasket?

Installation Instructions:
1) Allow the stove to cool completely before beginning.
2) Open the stove door and remove the old gasket by pulling it out of the channel.
3) Scrape away old adhesive using a wire brush or scraper and clean the channel thoroughly.
4) Apply a thin, even bead of the included high-temperature adhesive inside the gasket channel.
5) Press the new 1" rope gasket firmly into the channel, working evenly around the door. Do not stretch the gasket.
6) Trim the gasket so the ends meet snugly without overlapping.
7) Close the stove door gently and allow the adhesive to cure per the adhesive instructions (typically several hours).
8) After curing, build a small fire to fully set the gasket.

Installation Tip:
Do not overfill the channel with adhesive. Excess cement can prevent the gasket from seating properly and may affect door closure.
