Installation Instructions:

Replacing the brick retainer typically requires removing the stove's outer cabinet.

Preparation: Ensure the stove is completely cool and remove the exhaust pipe from the flue collar.

Cabinet Removal: Disconnect the thermostat chain and remove the bolts securing the cabinet to the stove. Lift the cabinet off to access the retainer.

Retainer Removal: Remove the three nuts and bolts holding the old retainer to the firebox. Pull the retainer forward and out.

New Installation: Insert the new retainer with the single-hole ledge facing down and the six-hole ledge facing upward towards the firebox side. Align the holes and tighten the three nuts and bolts securely.

Reassembly: Place the cabinet back over the firebox, reinstall the cabinet bolts, and reattach the thermostat chain.
